Many producers in underdeveloped countries battle daily to earn the wages they deserve for their strenuous labour.  The athletic industry is one area that has long been marked by very low pay and poor labour conditions.  Fair Deal Trading works with such disadvantaged producers, using appropriate, respectful, and “fair” conditions and wages to create a wide range of high quality athletic equipment and sportswear while investing it the producers’ lives.  In addition, Fair Deal Trading donates a portion of its product as rehabilitative tools to children throughout the world in areas traumatised by conflict or poverty.  Each purchase reinforces the use of fairer ways to produce athletic goods, ensuring that its producers increasingly benefit from their work.
