The Hope Centre, in Hue, Vietnam, works to change the lives of children who have disabilities and live in poverty. The Centre offers vocational training and employment opportunities in garment manufacture and handicraft production. Learning handicraft and sewing skills, these young people turn discarded rubbish they have gathered from the streets into beautiful products. Coloured paper and telephone wire, initially thrown away by others, are made into trays, bowls, and plates of unique and stunning designs. Your purchase of these products changes the lives of these young people, who otherwise would be begging on the street, and gives hope to them and their families.
